Sri Dalada Maligawa is a Buddhist temple which is located in the city of Kandy. It was found in 1595.

Kandy lake is situated in the heart of the city. It was designed by the last king of the Kandyan Kingdom. And this is an artificial lake. This place is a very quiet and beautiful place to go for a walk in the evening and also can get a boat at the jetty and go for a boat ride.
3.Royal Botanical Gardens
Royal Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya is located from about 5km away from the city. This is the largest botanical garden in the country.
4.The Kandy Esala Perahera
The Esala Perahera is the festival of Buddhist. Which is held in July and August. This is a historical festival which happens every year. This made of traditional local dances such as fire dance, Kandyan and other cultural dances.
