Melbourne Airport To Be Closed

The restrictions on international arrivals have been extended by the Australian Government due to the surge in COVID-19 cases. Melbourne Airport will remain closed to arriving international passenger flights until at least 11:59pm Saturday 15 August, including for transit purposes. We recommend impacted passengers contact their airlines for further information in the meantime. Some international flights are still departing from Melbourne Airport, and we again recommend contacting your airline for details. We will continue to publish updates regarding international arrivals as they come to hand on our social media platforms.
